Exam Integrity & Assessment Security
SVCH uses scenario-based, adaptive assessments with multiple layers of integrity protection. Here is exactly how we ensure every certification reflects real competency — not memorized answers.
Why Exam Integrity Matters for Certification Value
A certification credential is only as valuable as the integrity of the assessment behind it. If passing the exam is simply a matter of memorizing answers from a “brain dump,” the credential signals nothing. SVCH’s assessment design deliberately makes this impossible — by using scenario-based judgment assessments that cannot be answered by memorization alone.
Assessment Design: Scenario-Based, Not Recall-Based
The CAIO-CP™ and CAIERO-CP™ assessments are built around executive decision scenarios — not multiple-choice knowledge recall. Each assessment item presents a realistic AI strategy, governance, or ethics situation and asks the candidate to demonstrate judgment: what the right course of action is, why, and what the trade-offs are.
This design serves two purposes: it ensures the certification reflects real executive competency (not just the ability to study a textbook), and it makes “brain dumps” and leaked answer keys ineffective — because the answers depend on context, and the contexts change.
Item Bank Rotation & Assessment Security
Dynamic Item Selection
Each assessment is assembled dynamically from an item bank of 500+ validated scenarios. No two candidates receive identical assessments. Item selection is weighted to ensure every competency domain is adequately represented in every administration.
ANSI-accredited certification with rigorous exam integrity standards
Item Bank Security
Assessment content is stored in an encrypted item bank accessible only to authorized assessment administrators. Candidates are contractually prohibited from reproducing or distributing assessment content. SVCH monitors known certification forums for leaked content and retires any item found in public circulation.
Proctoring Standards
Live remote proctoring is available for candidates who require monitored assessments. Proctors are trained to SVCH standards and are independent of the curriculum team. In-person proctoring is available at authorized testing centers globally through our partner network.
Scoring Consistency
All scenario-based responses are scored against validated rubrics developed by the Standards Committee. For constructed-response items, inter-rater reliability is monitored and maintained above 0.85. Statistical item analysis is conducted after every administration to identify underperforming items.
Misconduct Policy
Zero Tolerance for Assessment Fraud
SVCH maintains a zero-tolerance policy for assessment fraud, including: impersonation, use of unauthorized materials, reproduction or distribution of assessment content, collusion, and any form of credential falsification. Violations result in immediate revocation of any certifications held, a permanent ban from future SVCH programs, and notification to the candidate’s employer where evidence of fraud is confirmed.
To report suspected misconduct: integrity@svch.io. All reports are investigated confidentially.
Accommodation Policy
SVCH is committed to providing equitable assessment access for all candidates. Accommodations are available for candidates with documented disabilities or medical conditions. Requests must be submitted at least 10 business days before the scheduled assessment date with supporting documentation. Approved accommodations may include extended time, alternative format delivery, and adaptive interface options. Contact accommodations@svch.io to request an accommodation.
